Like the gentle willow trees
and a warm summer breeze
You flowed through my heart
soothed my aching soul
Brought me back again
made me once again whole

Your gentle touch
and warmth of heart
Calmed the waves
I'd built inside
Softly words
you have spoken
washed all my fears
away with the tide

Like the gentle willow
you sway past me with gentle ease
All at once I find peace
and my heart no longer bleeds

I was drawn to this poem...I do so love willows. This is a very tender and peaceful write...a nice one to wake up to

This poem does a good job of capturing that feeling one gets when a loved one enters our lonesome moments (unannounced)
