Me ship has set sail 'er course has been charted . It's too late to bail the seas have been parted . Make thee way Davy Jones I'm comin' on through , me butt has been scuttled , 'tis sad but it's true . " Avarst ye land-lubbers , who'll come sail with me to search fer the treasure that's rumored to be ? " A fools quest fer sure if ye want the straight scoop . Step lively there matey , watch out for the poop deck of cards in me pocket , aye a full deck . We're all jokers wild on this ship I'd suspect , if lady luck's willin' there's riches in store more than ye can spend in three life-times or four ! Me ship is a grand one she's built solid through 'er sails are fer fun an' 'er compass is true . One oar in the water is all that she needs . It's trouble behind lads we're pickin' up speed ! Belay thet thar jib lad and buckle yer swarsh . Leave thet hangin' out an' it jest might get squarshed . We's off on a search fer the " coin of the realm " this ship full of fools with no one at the helm . And what be this " coin of the realm " ye might ask 'twould cause one to make up this story to bask in spite of their problems now lessened ten-fold enlightened by laughter not weighed down by gold ? Ye've answered yerself lad , I'll meet ye at sea , a poor man enrichened by 'is poetry . [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (edited 08-16-2001).] |

DrMoose~ A catching little tale o' the sea~ 'We's off on a search fer the " coin of the realm " this ship full of fools ****with no one at the helm. (????) And what be this " coin of the realm " ye might ask 'twould cause one to make up this story to bask in spite of their problems now lessened ten-fold enlightened by laughter not weighed down by gold ? Ye've answered yerself lad , I'll meet ye at sea , a poor man enrichened by 'is poetry.' ****But, but ... the good Captain Ron IS at the helm ! ! Honest ! ! Delightful to read aloud ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
