I've finally made a decision this is how I know it must be if you can't tell me that I have your love then it's time, I must set myself free. I can't bare to see you so sad it brings a tear to my eye You won't let me be there to help or hold you and it makes my soul hurt and my heart cry. I've always loved you, and I always will but upon a wish I can't live though if you wanted to share a dream that would be something that I could give. I'll be here if you need me and if you should want me too I know that deep in your heart you know that my words are meant true. I can't make myself not love you but it's time I left go of the pain because only through choosing to live is how in life we do gain. I'm asking you to do this; to your own heart be true for now we'll both do what we must but baby please remember to live.... and remember that I LOVE YOU. What a power packed expression from the heart. Dealing with the poem itself, well, it is written in perfect cadence and flows through us with the emotion that it holds. Now for the message. Love, though it is intangible in some rights, holds the promise of being able to touch it when it is shared and when that moment never comes, then it is hard not to become numb from hope and anticipation. Wonderfully expressed and constructed equally as well. |

Regina, Seymour, it is a decision that everyone must make......when the time is right. It fills me with a sadness to have to feel this pain. It fills me with a sadness that he has such despair inside, and that I can't help. He must help himself.....I pray he finds the strength. I believe we all find it when the time is right. My time has come, and I hope for his to come soon also. Writing the way that I do helps me to release everything that is inside. I can only hope that this particular piece somehow showed him my words are true. Thanks and hugs to all....... Donna On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. |

Like they say you can let go but if it reaches back and grabs you it isn't finished yet...love doesn't always begin and end exactly when we think it does...but I think it is a good idea not to hold on too tight...James |

It brings to mind the songs "In this life, I was loved by you" and "I lived while you loved me" That is the only feeling that I can walk away with this time. Sometimes love leaves for unknown reasons, and other times it leaves because it has to. It seems so much sadder when it has to. Thanks all for your words of support. It takes a deeper love to let them go than it does to hold them where they don't want to be....a heart touching weave that sings of love...and tears, both are evident and easily felt by those whose eyes fall upon this. Excellent writing~ |
