~~~* Lady violet *~~~
Violet…..
is my name…..
a dream land of fame
a loveliness
that can never be
more lovely
than your looks at me
A flower I might be
That wither
And die away
But a being of majesty
I could be
With so many hidden
Words to say
Purple ….
Is my color
Vanity
Is my call
Dare to hurt me
And you will lose it all
~~*~~*~~*~~
*An old poem as my muse seems to be in vacation…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you

Of myself forever reproaching myself,

Well I'm not any good at critiques and such... I'm just here for poetry. So I'm sorry that I don't have any constructive opinions for you. To put it simply... I really enjoyed your poem. I'm glad you shared this (even if it's old) because it was very lovely.

Be kind, be true, be bold, be you.

honeysuckle
is my vine
clinging sweet
with smell divine

colors vary
and in many hues
on warmer summer nights
I leave my clues

tendrilled tight
around this heart
I cling to hope
and a day's new start

(chuckling)

Sometime I read poems and onother just pops into my head.... hope you don't mind...

I truly enjoyed yours...and the image as well
If your muse is on vacation..indeed share the older ones. I am sure many or most I have not seen....and I always enjoy reading your words...

a lovely bouquet from your poetry garden...
yes...share the seeds of your pen.
very well done Melody.

We're all feeding our lonely...like it might go away...
Like the doors to Heaven would swing open...
If we could just find the right words to say

I love it when a poem pops as a result of reading mine......So just take your full freedom on this regard and be sure I'd never mind it.....

Thank you dearly for the encouragement...and I will.....

indeed, one that relates the fragility of us. . . we're not as tough as we might think sometimes. . . and sometimes, we're tougher. . .

well done my friend. . . and there's nothing wrong with bringing out the older ones. . .
