Your eyes’ kiss soothes me Like the midday moon delights late-rising sky gazers, Bringing into their view the composure of azure enchantment. A walk into your world refreshes me Like finding the balance between humility and self-love. Your defending embrace protects me Like the dry falls of sequester in crises of love, Guarding my stance from gray’s disappointment. The thought of your pulse crosses my mind Like the reaches of lightning from a cloudless sky. The enveloping of your unruffled night sways me Like that island afloat the aqua tranquility, Beaming contentment from its solitary standpoint. The harbor of your voice anchors my spirit Like the force behind an unfastened feather in a whirlwind. Walk with me until the road is no more; Fly with me until the sky ends; Lie beside me in this shimmering daze Until the night ends with the magenta splendor of first light... -kh can I see my world without you in it? |

Walk with me until the road is no more; Fly with me until the sky ends; Lie beside me in this shimmering daze Until the night ends with the magenta splendor of first light... =============================== Well its getting harder and harder to pic out fave lines... this is awesome Kris... the use of comparison, the employ of metaphor and analogy is excellent... the perfect poetic blending of imagery and emotion... nature's gifts and forces used to illustrate the heart's forces. very very cool writing here...very well done jm We're all feeding our lonely...like it might go away... |

Now then..........is there any wonder I consider myself the most blessed man on earth? Not only do I get to read your wonderful creations done in superb excellence ALWAYS, but I get to share in the experiences of their origins as well and look into the eyes of one as special and gifted as you. Such a beautiful piece my dear and so wonderfully "YOU". Your vision of life and it's moments hold no restrictions as to how you will portray them as you always find a way to soar in your words. I so enjoyed the cadence of this piece and of course you knew I would love the imagery. Beautiful penning and of course you know ........... ___________________!!! |
