Quivering Wings What made the oceans spin me to heaven What made the universe swivel around Why is my mind in mists of enchantment Why can’t I touch the solid of ground Quivering wings of little white pigeon Eyes lightly closed like an infant at dawn Motionless body of child in dreamland Throbbing of breast like a trembling fawn Lips pressed together in moments of splendor Spinning the earth as new pleasures unfold Eyes gaze at depths in the eyes of another Feeling the pulses of life taking hold Bodies attracted by power of undertows Kisses inducing the wild of desire Impulse of nature, the moontides of rhythm Burn in the flames of a passionate fire Why is the universe swirling around The infinite beauty of love has been found Elizabeth Santos 8/14/01 [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 08-14-2001).] |

Beautifully illustrates not only your talent for penning a piece that reads with a excellent cadence but also shows your heart and your wonderful nature. Loved it much. |
