Do you also have this feeling that time is running out on you every day seems a bit shorter because you have so much to do I have to start still my vacation four weeks I will be feeling free four times of seven days that is but things piling up to do for me I have to inspect some sheep North, South, West and East will I see of my native country me, inspecting every beast In the windows glass is broken it's my task to repair those things I'll have to fly from one to another and to do that need some wings Then there is my new meadow need to put all the fence around grass grown high till my waste did you hear my moaningsound And my mother will be ninety in some merely three weeks time have to send the invitations need to think of a decent rhyme My husband dearest pal he is is building a new home for guests but already sixty years (ha ha) he claimes he needs lots of rests So I fear my time is running out for I joined Nan's workshop too If you don't see me that often Know I have lots of things to do When I'm old so in my eighties and my mind will still be clear I'll have time to read the poems of all the unread poets here A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... Titia--It was interesting to hear the things you have to do in your life...my life is different, of course, but I feel time running too. I enjoyed your poem! |

titia, i feel the same way actually but unlike you, i am not as preoccupied as you and i don't really know what are the things i wish to achieve in life.... i'm rather lost, huh?? |

Oh Sy, I problably wouldn't have time either when I'm in my eighties. Thanks for reading. Martie, lots of people don't want to live the way we live. That's oké, it would have been too crowded in the country then  Lone Wolf, 48-hour days uhh?  Constance, yes sometimes it gets a bit hectic overhere, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Faterider, well if it's a comfort, I never knew what to achieve in my life, things just happen. Thanks to you all Titia A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess... |
