Last Night I dreamt Floating ever so lightly I felt the scrape of something on my arm I realized to my amazement, pine needles I was floating among the trees I could smell the scent of pine My breath felt crisp, but soft I was on a mountain top, I pulled myself Through the air and landed in the snow Letting the crystals melt in my hand I looked to the clouds, Big puffy whisps And awe struck me solid in my stance Before me was a glorious landscape A desert, an ocean, green grassy plains All together, with unseen boundaries I jumped, God knows why, But I jumped I landed in the ocean, and swam with fish Colorful rainbows of streaking fish Jelly fish, and sharks, yet I was unafraid I could breath within the deep water! I went to the bottom and swam upwards Towards the shore. I dripped and dragged out And stood in a desert of driest sands Tall cactus standing attention I fell to my knees and let the sand slip Grains fell gently through my fingers Heat rose up in dazing streams Yet I felt cool as rain I ran, fast, faster than fast I streamed dizzy through the dunes Feeling sand shift beneath my feet Until grass began to whisk my face And the smell, of green, of earthen soil slowed my race to full stop In front of Sunflowers glorious gold Giant in smiling faces. They swayed The grasses shifted in rolling swirls I twirled round and round, drinking in All the landscape before me. The mountain Just a step away, the desert dunes Touching grassy plains, The ocean crashing nearby The greenest greens, the bluest blues The most sunlit golds, and whitest brights I do believe it was my world of dreams. |

jwesley: If only is true. I was almost disappointed when I woke! Your comment is so appreciated. Rick: It was a wonderous dream. I had to share. Thanks for being there to read! I enjoy your comments so. Sandra: Thank you. It was a challenge to try to express. I still wish I could have put forth the amazement though. You are so sweet. James: You devil you. At least it's someone you admire! If not it would be a nightmare! Thank You! Seymour: Thanks for replying. I am so glad you enjoyed! I appreciate you so. Sven: Wild to fly in dreams isn't it. Thank you for your lovely replies. Sincerely, Regina |

Why assume that it was a dream? Just because you "awoke" to this life doesn't necessarily mean that the "other one" is negated, does it...? Sounds like an "experiential hub" to me -- a place where any destination is a possibility and limits do not exist -- a proving ground for "your true self" that limitations are only one form of "role-playing"... at least on this plane... Very vivid voicing, Regina -- thanks for the "trip". -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

Krawdad: I wish the same. If we had a Dreams Column maybe, to record what we dreamt. I used to keep that, I need to again. Thank you! Marge: Just for you! The sunflowers were as big as dinnerplates! Very vivid. Thanks for reading! Iris Rose: I hope it was sweet! Thanks for your reply! ![]() Mark: My everperplexing spirit! Okay, what about this. An out of body experience? It was very real! Thank You so much for making me think. Sue: Thank you so much! I appreciate your kindness. ![]() Sincerely, Regina |
