Tired of this dulling void;
Gotta get out of where I've been
Can't go on so empty
Just want to feel again.

To close my eyes and smile
At a warm breeze on my cheek,
To feel the sun upon my back
That melts away these clouds, so bleak.

Want to be full of love again,
Want to be able to feel.
Want to feel the king of love
That remains true and deep and real.

Don't want no pseudo-infatuation,
The kind that floats on the surface,
Shifting and shimmering, sliding and slipping
Trying to stay in focus.

Want the kind of love that grows
From roots well planted and strong;
Want to feel a love with endurance
To last my whole life long.

Want my love to have a passion,
A steady burning flame.
Want a love I'd die for
Willingly and without shame.

Want impossible kind of love,
Want to feel love with chemistry,
With trust, communication, respect,
Thoroughness and vitality.

WAnt to push away this sludge,
This gray fog I'm living in.
Need to breathe some fresh night air.
Just want to feel again.

the flow of this is good. . . maybe a little bit bumpy in some places. . . but, the words make up for that. . .

now, as Sunshine has so wonderfully put. . . go and do!!
