Tonight’s Lies

tonight
tell me
lies
tomorrow
the truth
I will know
so tonight
tell me lies
and tell
them to me
slow
say
all the words
I long to
hear
whisper them
softly
as you
hold me
near
for
in this darkness
I can’t
see your
eyes
and in
the light
lies are
but a thin
disguise

Love this one and I have to agree at night lies are sometimes accepted.

well, Helen, Helen, you know if I've been lied to I open the door and tell them not to let it hit them in the .....on the way out!
