I sit upon a sunbathed rock In my life I slowly take stock As the waves surround my feet Where man and nature finally meet The water serves to soothe my soul Allowing me to once again be whole For my sins have all been washed clean My life has been painted with new scenes No longer do I walk alone in the dark Looking for that ever elusive spark The light of life surrounds me now To the heavens I reverently bow Peace surrounds my troubled heart Giving me a brand new start Walking in victory with my Lord To new heights my life has soared All writing comes |

Such encouraging words for the rest of us to keep looking to the heavens! This one does soar! Enjoyed. Sincerely, Regina |

I've always found a sense of renewal and peace from visits to the sea - even if those feelings are so fleeting they seem borrowed. But you've found a greater source of peace and lasting victory, and written it well. Beautiful work. |

Jesus had good reason to say "Peace be with you" He knew it's an emotion we crave. God bless you! " I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be" George William Curtis" |
