Give it time, if it's meant to be the sweet
smell will return once again. Don't give up on what just yesterday was wonderful. Sometimes the good things in life take longer, be patient, work harder, if you really want it, if it was yours to begin with it will come back. Your words are sad,

The part that upsets me is when you believe you are doing everything right and you still lose a relationship...and you can remember a relationship when you know you did everything wrong and she stuck around for ages...just one of those things...James

ah... wrong choices..and we are faced with a burned bridge...

Nicely written and I hope there is at least a ford to cross where the bridge was and that stranded...no one ends

Well done...felt so much anguish for the perpetrators that my first thought was:

"Get a rope!"

Not to string em up...but to build a new bridge...where there's life there's hope.

This was a powerful piece and a good read, though painful in its message.
