What A Friend Was He ? Always remain close This he said to me Why spin me yarns What a friend was he ? Keep forever friends Now until eternity I kept my promise What a friend was he? Ache pains my heart Tears none will see Foolishly I trusted What a friend was he ? The saying goodbye Never said to me Just became silent What a friend was he ? In my yearning heart Truth for all to see Why does he ignore What a friend was he ? Obviously he is gone Without telling me I search the cause What a friend was he ? Hope |

Not much of one.  I believe a friend would have the guts to give you an honest goodbye, but we unfortunately let ourselves be fooled by pretenders. Well written. |
