White clouds cover blue skies
As if they wear a hidden disguise
My mind wanders back in time
To an age when I was in my prime

Another time, another place
I wore a different face
Yet inside I remain the same
My life is just a learning game

The people and scenes evolve
Unraveling a mystery to solve
Patiently awaiting to see
What my purpose here is to be

In due time it shall be revealed
Along the way my heart is healed
Preparing me for the next test
I will give it my very best

I delve into my conscience deep
Tenderly sowing awaiting to reap
Of myself I willingly give
For it's through others that I live

They benefit from my compassion
Mercy and grace are never out of fashion
They endure through the years
Summoned by the heart's tears

When my time here is done
My body will set with the sun
But my spirit shall live on
For that is how the victory is won
