We seek the profound When the simple will do We search all around For What's before Me and you Emotions pull our strings Like puppets in a play And make us do such things We may regret some day (Copyright 1991 by: MARK V SHELDON) "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

Mark, this is wonderful...I loved it! Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

Very nicely written Mark and so true, So many mistakes are made in the heat of the moment at least I've found that to be true for me. Throw your heart out in front of you |

Sy: thank you, Sir. Dan: True... but life would be pretty dull without those learning lessons. Thanks for stopping by. -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

Guilty! I have reacted instead of acting on a problem, and always fell on my face. Making Mountains out of Mole Hills so to speak. Hard lessons. But very character molding! Sincerely, Regina |

True enough, your words usually do apply to so much. Regrets are one of those things that surely never come up at the time. And sometimes never. Good one. Sandra |

Constance -- thanks. I'm learning that sometimes minimalism says more than "maximalism". Regina -- another life lesson pathway: to learn to become more "pro-active" rather than "re-active"... Sometimes, I find that an old saying applies well in certain situations: "It is better to keep one's mouth shut and let people think one a fool than to open it and release them of all doubt." Sometimes a deep breath and silence allow the question to answer itself... Aw shucks, JM... thank you. :-) Melissa: I am honored to be included in your library -- glad it found you. Logan, no we don't, because at that point in time we have the option of not letting them become future regrets... Thank you, Sir, for the comments. thecraig, thanks for the read & reply. Glad you found this encouraging. Sandra, if we get good in our aim, we can shoot the word "regret" out of the lexicon skies of our lives. But first, we must learn how to shoot and then how to aim... -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |
