Hey Hey Hey! I finally wrote a poem! I haven't written anything in a few weeks, so I'm really happy to have finally written something. Anywho, let me know what you think.

SOMETIMES I WONDER

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If people would let me make my own mistakes
Instead of telling how it's going to be
Before I even know what it is that I want

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If everything went the way that I wish it would
Instead of not knowing what will happen next
Before I even get a chance to think

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If I was all alone, with nobody but myself
Instead of always being surrounded and crowded
With room to think and room to feel

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If I took the time to appreciate what I have
Instead of always wishing life were better
Before realizing it's already pretty good

I really like this poem . . . This verse:

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If I took the time to appreciate what I have
Instead of always wishing life were better
Before realizing it's already pretty good

really hits home. Great write!

Great job Cody. Looks like you were successful in curing yourself of writer's block. My favorite stanza is:

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like
If I was all alone, with nobody but myself
Instead of always being surrounded and crowded
With room to think and room to feel

a poem that i relate to greatly..i often felt such sentiments myself, except that i don't have the words to write them..

May i humbly beg to differ?

i think life's only meaningful and challenging when it throws us surprises to make us sit up and
deal with them...memorable memories are made that way, i feel
