Its time for humor none of love, Its time for humor nothing with doves, Its time for humor so pull up a chair, Its time for humor so sit on your hair, Its time for some humor in this place, All i ever see is a very sad face, So much poetry about love and hate, Im beginning to worry about my own fate, This is a family, A family of friends, So pull up a chair and answer my prayers. Write about love or write about hate, Whatever you heart says that will be your fate, Ill write about humor so here i go, You might want to put down that coke, Out your nose it will come, When you hear my little riddles of jokes, Your screen all full of pop or you keyboard all sticky, I can guarentee you will laugh at my joke. What yellow and black and smells like me? Why would it matter this is a poem not a joke what are you thinking you silly little fool, I wrote like crap now i write like gold, im kicking your butt in this rhyme of mine, It may not be funny but your still reading. Humor in poetry is the best way to go, It makes people laugh and brings smiles of gold, Hate brings tears and so often does love, Humor i love Humor i hate Humor can be anything, what i ask you is hairy and smells like a monkey? Well it wouldnt be fair if i told quite yet so tune in next time for a little hint. (yeah i kinda got thrown off tracks in a few parts but guess what IT DOESNT MATTER i wrote what i wanted to when i wanted to and im getting looser and looser and im figuring what lines match what and heres how i did it) [This message has been edited by branden726 (edited 07-19-2001).] |

LoL i broke that flow in a lot of places but it didnt matter to me i wasnt trying to make sense and i was trying to a sincere poet i was having fun!  All you other poets beware my true feelings and poetry are about to flare! |

That was cute!! I like this, Branden. very creative. The rhyme scheme was pretty well done... an improvement since last time. As for the riddle.. what is hairy and smells like a monkey? What's hairy and smells like a monkey?! Well a monkey, of course!!! Nice poem!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
