If you can't take the time to hold me, If you can't take the time to pick up the phone, If you can't take the time to even call me, then please just let me know. If you can't take the time to say "I love you" If you can't take the time to say "I care" If you can't take the time to just listen, then please just let me know. If you can't tell me if we're meant to be, If you can't tell me why we broke up, If you can't take the time to see what matters, then please just let me know. Let me know if I'm second best, let me know if you're tired of this, let me know if we're meant to be, let me know if you're my baby. If you can't take the time to hold me closer, if you can't take the time to just stop by, If you can't take the time to just love me, then please just let me know. there's more, but I g2g. Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |

Okay, here's the rest. If you can't take the time to hold on to what we've got, if you can't take the time to apologize, if you can't take the time to look into my eyes, then please just let me know. Let me know if I'm the one for you, let me know if it's come and gone too soon, let me know if it's okay for me to love you, let me know just what to do. If you can't just help me to figure this out, if you can't just say yes if I asked you out, if you can't just let me know what I need to hear, then please just let me know. Let me know before I love you too much, let me know before my heart gets crushed, let me know if I'm too late again, let me know if we'll just be friends. Let me know if I'm the one you want, let me know if this is all we've got, let me know if time could just stand still, let me know if I'm the one for you. Just please let me know. Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |

very emotional...i personally thought the repition worked well in this poem...and the way you ended with the "let me know"s...shows it stronger your "need"...i liked the poem...you did well on expressing yourself,Allysa im addicted to passions in poetry!...are you? |

The repitition didn't just "work well" it was awesome! I REALLY liked this, Allysa. Very strong emotions here... I enjoyed this VERY much. Nicely done, indeed... --Marie You think yourself a failure, but perhaps the biggest loss is winning... |

I agree w/ everyone Allysa- The repetition did wonders to this! ...and I'm thinking it would make a nice lil song... Not all songs need a chorus. |

Allysa, OH I simply loved this one...I was totally feelin it and know what it feels like to be just so unsure and just wish you knew what was goin on. Great poem! ~Nikki~ It takes only a minute to like someone, a hour to love someone, but a lifetime to forget them. |

Have you ever just wished you could read one person's mind for like ten seconds? That's what I feel about Justin. Then I wouldn't be so cconfused. My friend Bridget joked and was like what if you read his mind and he was thinking about something bizarre like fried chicken? Wouldn't that be interesting? Well, thanks everyone! Very emotional here. I enjoyed the poem very much so! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

This is one of my favorites by you. I have felt left out, like people don't have the time for me... And they won't let me know what's going on. This one is going to my library. Great job! - Cody - |

Yeah, everyone's felt left out sometimes. Today is Justin's b-day. I haven't called him at all. I don't want to bother him on his special day. I think he's having a party, but I wasn't invited. It might have something to do with the fact that it could be just guys or something, or it might be b/c he wasn't invited to my b-day (b/c it was just us girls) or maybe because his cousin's going to be there and me and him hit it off pretty well last time we were all together. He didn' even call me on my b-day, even tho I couldn't do anything on the exact date because I had to babysit and he promised to call and maybe even come and keep me company. but he didn't call until the day of my party (which was three days later). I dunno. I don't care that I wasn't invited because I have no reason to be hurt and he told me that we'll all go to the movies sometime soon. His cousin said that he didn't think there was going to be a party. he thought that Justin and all his friends were just gonna go to the movies or something. oh well, I'll find out tomorrow. And anyway, I still have to give him his present! Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |
