"Mr. Moon" © 2002 Brian Eggertsen, All Rights Reserved Verse 1 Sitting on a sandy beach While the moon climbs from the sea, With a dozen red roses And a diamond ring on me. Look at the peach colored moon Take a deep breath in it's light, Then I say you seem like the Perfect listener tonight.... Chorus Mr. Moon my life may as well just be over, Diana's love's been stolen from my Shoulders, Got nothing to hold on to anymore. Mr. Moon wish I didn't feel misled, And I wish I could clean out my closet, Know you've heard it a million times before. But thanks for listening...Mr. Moon... Verse 2 Had the evening all planned out Was gonna purpose to her, In your pale light by the bay But I still carry the words. We had two wonderful years Oh man, as time pass one by, Feels like we just said hello And now we're saying goodbye. Chorus Bridge Any advice from one loner to another Since we are both as lonely as can be, Dear. Mr. Moon thanks for being my friend tonight For taking time listening to my story. (Thanks for lending me you ears...) Chorus [This message has been edited by Hallucination (08-24-2002 06:39 PM).] |

I was just thinking of something like this! Of the moon being a loner as well as a person can be. I think I like this the best of all I've seen from you so far, Brian. Well done! ![]() ~Beth You look inside my wild mind |
