Somewhere along the way, we became lost on this path. the beckon of light that outshone all, was blown out by a careless breeze. time stopped indefinitely for a matter of seconds, regained only when it was too late to turn back. a hand reached out and stole me away, to a state of numbing confusion. composed of a wretched loss. compromising a soul to be damned. I realized a moment already gone, it was you that was lost, for I was always here. eh.. I'm not sure if I've posted this before or not. I don't think I have but it was one of my older pieces. I found it while I was glancing through my old poetry notebook. hmm I think this was when my ex and I were in the middle of breaking up. oO “A single choice can build destinies, or destroy them.” |

Well I haven't seen this one before Tiff so it's all new here.  I like the way you've written everything here. It reads through very well with such vivid descriptions. Sorry to hear that you were in so much pain though. ~M Imagination=nostalgia for the past, the absent; it is the liquid solution in which art develops the snapshots of reality. |
