I open my textbook

And see you between the helixes

Sprawled naked in the margins

Beckoning from the paragraph

I turn your page,

But in spite of myself and Biology,

I decide to join you

I jump onto the white sheets

And let you teach me, firsthand.

This is my first post. I'm a little nervous

Ok first things first...Jess is the coolest girl in the whole world!

I like your subject for this poem, very creative, most people can't put emotion into Biology. But what do I know, I dont take it until next semester. Welcome to our home away from home...and it is just like home. Complete with the bickering and the late night taboo playing

"blank if you're...."

Anyway, good job!

hey,
you seem to be quite good at metaphors. lol i'm glad you find amusement in biology =) i think this is probably the first poem i've read here that mentions it. thanks for the interesting read.

Welcome, Welcome.

Quite the unique first post. I liked it. Biology is such a pain in the ass unless you're doing nutrition and have a few...things wrong with you.

What a great first post!! Between this, and your other piece "Directions" that I just read, I'd say you've got a really unique style of writing. I almost didn't read this because of the title "Biology" (yuck, lol) but I'm glad I did. Keep posting!!
