This is off the top of my head but I felt that I needed to put this into a poem. It's 3 AM, You're asking me if I love you, But you're reffering to yourself in the third person, It's pretty weird, But that's one of the things about you that drives me wild, You tell me about making a wish on a shooting star, You won't tell me what you wished for, You'll only say that I probably want it to come true too, You're silent now, Maybe I said the wrong thing, Did you really want to hear that I was in love with you? I wanted to say it so badly, But I'm still not sure if it would've been right, It's 3 AM, Actually it's only 12 for you, My eyelids are heavy, And this conversation has left my brain feeling hazy, I think it's time for bed, I wish you could come with me. ((Ok that last line wasn't meant in a sexual way. It was meant in a "hold me all night" way. Anyway, thanks for reading. Poetic improv! Haha.)) "You say the present's just a pleasant interruption to the past."-Something Corporate |

Ah don't you love distance? *sigh* It's a pain but you've expressed this longing well here. Maybe spread it out a bit more, trust in spacing etc. I did enjoy it. Thanks for the read. ~M Imagination=nostalgia for the past, the absent; it is the liquid solution in which art develops the snapshots of reality. |

I thought that this was wonderful. I know exactly how you feel. You captured your thoughts and feelings well. Great write. I've never seen you on the streets of this town, I've never seen you just hanging around, But you still tell me that you know me... ~Justin Sane |
