Where do they go I wonder when they are pushed aside just thrown to the curb so another can reside in a heart that's taken the life of some fool and then another after that where was the golden rule? Where is the passion in a game of give it all where is the hero who picks up a heart that falls prey to a lover who uses then tosses never looking back never caring for the losses? It's best to be careful guard your feelings real close don't let your heart be taken just used by one who knows that we all look for love and for friendship in this place don't let them leave you lonely wandering helpless in your space. I normally hate "advice poems" because they usually come out sounding extremely corny. But this poem actually contained some really good advice and it sounded great too. So kudos to you. The ending was my favourite.. it can be difficult ending a poem well and you pulled it off nicely. "don't let them leave you lonely wandering helpless in your space" I'm married to Mr.Metaphor. We make love everyday. |
