City lights glitter,
people shimmer,
streets buzz with excitement,
the city @ night.

A blue sky above,
people pushing though the busy streets,
a "rush, rush" world at yet a relaxed pace,
the city by day.

The city that never sleeps: New York, New York.

I really like this, you caught something about the feel of a big city, I love that feeling, have never been to New York but I bet the feeling is the same there as it is here in London, anyway well done

I looove New York! I liked your second stanza better...it seemed more original. I like the "rush, rush" "New York, New York" thing you had going on, too.

hey,
i have never actually been to new york city in reality (in my dreams i have quite often though lol) i think your short description did it justice, i especially enjoyed the first two lines. the title was nice too.
