Kimono band-aid will
Teach you everything and leave
You with nothing, I have
Nothing and nothing on
You

But I have my kimono band-aid
And it’ll buy me many boys
Oh and lets not forget the girls
I like them too

And we won’t be born again,
Stuck like glue – but still
We pretend because it’s all
We know how to do

(dress it up baby, dress it up)

Hey There Memina

I like the flow and meter of this one, memina. Nice stanza form and breaks, all that jazz. And the ending? *grins* Love it. Love it.

Oh, by the way, I thought metaphorically.

Sincerely,
SaVerite

Yay for yummy metaphors. *hugs*

It's a good thing you did or else you'd never understand it.

Your writing is so over my head a lot of the time (like now) but I like that. It's not often that people can write like you do.

Now is where I threaten you with a cold fish and say damn you, damn you all to hell.
Jaime, wow. I'm going to be repetative and say I loved this because it honestly is a piece packed with such huge metaphoric value.

"Kimono band-aid will
Teach you everything and leave
You with nothing,"

Honestly, how can a person not enjoy it. I could highlight every single bit in it that meant something but I won't. Second stanza did the most out of all (obviously) so thank you for posting this.

This is really well written. I'm loving the depth that's involved and the imagery most deinitely. You write with such an attitude that it stands out no matter what. I'm going to look forward to reading more of your pieces.

Thank you so much for allowing me the chance to read this.
