floating down a river...

This is a poem I wrote just to vent some feelings. So it has no structure or rhyming or anything but oh well.

I don't know what hurts more,
The fact that we can't be together now,
Or that we'll never have a chance,
When it was all just a dream,
A crazy fantasy of mine,
That was fine,
Then you had to say those words,
You had to turn it into reality,
Even though you knew,
You knew it wasn't possible,
And now I'm left here,
With this burning desire,
To feel your arms around me,
But you're too far away,
Why couldn't you have left it alone,
And left me with only my daydreams?
Now my world is falling apart,
All because you had to say it,
You had to say just what I wanted to hear,
And I still don't know what hurts more.

Powerful cuz its true...they say what doesnt kill u makes u stronger, but still sometimes its hard to figure out if something painful was really worth the trouble. I thought u did an excellent job here. Kudos!
