Lands of paint, spilled across enemy lines Sheared glass trickles up along the curvy plains Teargas creaks in and out of stoned barriers Gunfire sprays the murky skies with a distinct taste of cowardly cry Suicide bombers bursting with pride Soldiers peel off moving buses Wads of blood scattered with an eerie ache Families cry tears of shelled pain Propaganda, a cancer without a cure Morals slowly descend into the Dead Sea Feathers of scared shrills scatter the infinite clouds God’s wings a shadow of betrayal Trains of poetic peace speed through beads of blood Eyes are forever bloodshot Pillars in shambles, crumbs for all those lost |

This is a very powerfull piece. You've really conveyed all the emotions of this terrible time. Good write. ~Jennifer Nicole Boutilier~ *for someone who's used to heartache, losing it all was just a matter of time* |

Nice poem. I think it should have been posted in Dark Passions. Ronil (A mask for everyday. Imagine a life without them.) |
