in the pouring rain

hide my face in a dark shadow
crystal blue eyes stare back at nothing
darkness surronds the bright, cheerful room
half a person sits in its dark

souls gone no longer a whole
nothing left deep down inside
empty feelings run throughout
hiding nothing huddled in a corner

weeping softly as I sit
tears flow down my face
curve down my gentle hurt face
born in my burning blues eyes

heart broken smaller than now
all i can picture is you
close my eyes and you are there again
but yet you are gone

a huddled person in a corner
hide my face in a dark shadow
crystal blue eyes stare back at nothing
darkness surronds the bright, cheerful room
half a person sits in its dark

all because of you

very good poem. I like how you kept coming back to the same imaginary. Good work.
