hey all, this poem is semi-interesting in that it didn't come from me. i asked my friend mr matt what his worst fear was, and he said being burried alive, so that intrigued me. anyway, this is my perspective on how it would feel. thanks for reading it. panicked fingers claw at the wood scratching... trying to escape in my coffin cell death i frantically await earth as my prison the soil, my heavy warden guarding against my escape no one can hear the terrified screams which are muffled by the sated dirt too ignorant to pray to frightened to die someone help me i scream as the blackness envelopes my mind -bergundy maybe i'll catch fire, something nice to warm me. something pure to burn away the darkness, that hides inside my mind. -alkaline trio- [This message has been edited by fearing-laughter (07-23-2002 01:09 AM).] |

Oh how very scary ..... Very gripping! I always thought burning to death was my worst fear. I don't know what's worse? You've done an excellent job in expressing your friends fears! ~Sheri |

hi irie =) eeep yeah both burning and burrying sound horrible *Shudders* i remember watching this weird movie when i was younger about being burried alive, i had a bunch of dreams about it and was completely traumatized for awhile lol. maybe that is where this poem came from too...anyway. thank you for replying, i appreciate it lots =) -bergundy- maybe i'll catch fire, something nice to warm me. something pure to burn away the darkness, that hides inside my mind. -alkaline trio- |
