Not that it matters but I still love you,
And deep down I know that you love me too.
soon You'll find the error of your ways,
And I won't be happy until that day.

Not that it matters but i still need you,
Beside me in the cold, bitter nights.
I know your cold by yourself too,
So come home and make it right.

Not that it matters but i still think of you,
when I'm lying around alone.
I can only hope that you think of me too.
so someday you'll come back home.

Not that it matters but i would do
anything to get you back in my arms.
Well almost anything anyways
unless it brings you harm.

Last post is right: love always matters
Especially to a poet

However, about the poem really liked the way you started each part with "not that it matters"... simplifying emotions and then explaining them in depth, shows an unintentional contrast?
That's what i think anyways!

Unfortunately sometimes it doesn't matter and you just have to do your best to move. However, I think that if you truly believe in something you shouldn't just give up on it. Such is life..
