EMOTIONS

When sad,
I laugh…
When angered,
I smile…
When happy,
I cry…
All I want to do is die
The feelings that I hide
Are burning deep inside
Feeling sorrow
For all the things that I know…
Are eating me away…

I think this piece's shotrtness (is that a word??) give it's strength. you managed to convey a great deal of emotion with few words.

I like short poems. I have a hard time focusing on things for a long time so short poems are my friends.

I agree with allie that the length of the poem gives it strength. And also, sometimes there's nothing more to really say except "all I want to do is die".
