First poem I've posted on here, this may or may not be a good starting place... But here's something I know needs work. It's called Wink:

Bat your lashes pretty girl.
             Where's your cool guy?

C'mon - to somewhere we can
    Duck our heads (conspiratorial and intimate)
    Laugh (and make everyone hate us)
    Shoot glances (so they all know)

Let's go be quiet and special and better
right in the middle of a room.

there is no good or bad starting place, you are comfertable with your poetry enough to post it, it is obviously a great place!

And this poem, although different than a lot that I read on here, was very well written, and had a great theme.

it was an excellent first post, welcome to passions!
