Mirror, Mirror on the wall Why can’t I break your gaze Trapped in a reflection’s squall Set my mind ablaze Mirror, Mirror in your eyes Why cast back such disdain Breaking through my life’s disguise Hang my head in shame Mirror, Mirror in my heart Why put up such a fight You’ve been shattered from the start Time to make things right |

The mirror is a great concept for a poem. It can hold the most meaningfull answers yet contain so many questions. Poetry is spiritual ventilation! |
