When thoughts are roused And fires are doused One wonders if it's really true Was the love really there Was it round, was it square Is it experienced by just the few Now It happened that time But the words did not rhyme Sent back to my cave with head down I thought I had beat it No need to ever treat it My heart now like a ghost town |
