you told me forever
but forever has to end
forever isnt real
im not gonna pretend
it never lasted before
so what makes us different?
what makes you think
that we'll some how make it through it?
Im scared of being hurt
scared of you breaking my heart
scared that its gonna end
and have my world fall apart
too many times i have trusted guys
and they've left me neglected
left me with all these memories
left me feeling rejected
i wanna love you
i wanna give you my heart
but how do i know that you'll be true
how do i know you wont tear me apart?
i have to let my guard down
and somehow let you in
break down this endless wall
and give into this love even though it might be a sin
but forever will i worry
and forever will i wonder inside
if you are the one for me
if you are really mr right
I know i have to trust you
trust that this is fate
prove to me that you love me
and get rid of all this hate

You know that's a very good poem!! I would have thought you'd have numerous posts beforehand. Even though I'm a guy I still understand where your coming from. When I have gone out with girls before I feel the same way you do sometimes, and when I don't I wonder if the girl feels the same way. But I really enjoyed reading your poem. Good work!! Hope to read more from you in the future!

I really like this, and its interesting because in all honesty I can not relate...

I dont have this problem of being scared of heartbreak....because I never think beforehand.

But-I do know heartbreak, and you wrote about it well

great job...hope to see more
