I’m watching a movie About a girl and her struggles As she goes through the days Handling her troubles She cries for no reason And sleep does not come Her eyes seem glazed over And her emotions are numb. Her thoughts are of hurt And of pain deep inside But mostly the memory of childhood Which slowly fizzled and died I stop watching the movie For just enough time to see That the girl in the movie Was no actress, she was me. ~viper~ |

Oy vey. I hear this one all too well. Great job on this one, I really felt it. Jenn Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving? |

you find yourself crying without a reason? shush... there's always a reason a person cries....and im pretty sure you know why you're feeling that way too. this is a really heart-felt poem..i really do hope you find a way out of this hurt and pain you feel- from whereever it came. its a nice poem...but saddening all the same. keep posting. could the darkness be my friend? |
