She thought nothing of it when her stomach didn't tingle whenever he was around. And when she never felt like she needed him all the time she pretended not to care. In a world where people are made to think that love is touch and touch is love and nothing else is similar the only thing that love is thought to be Isn't. She felt comfortable around him not afraid to be herself and when she was told it wasn't love, it was friendship, she thought nothing of it. She never longed to feel his lips on hers never really cared to much about touching, but love is touch and touch is love and nothing else is similar and the only thing that is thought to be love Isn't. This poem completely rocked. Really, I LOVED It. VERY well done, you impressed me with this one. I kind of disagreed on one thing, but the reason why I liked it was because it showed me another view point on love. It made sense too. I liked the poem. Hope to see more. Oh, well I disagreed on the fact that you were stating what love IS. Like....that love IS touch and touch IS love. I loved that you did that, I mean that is why I like the poem. Does that make sense? Liking a poem because you think differently to it? hehe No but I don't believe that love is simply touch. I'd have to say that it is a component of many unsaid, unexplanable things. However the fact you said that love is touch was awesome. That's basically it.... I disagreed with defining the undefinable. |

Oh wow Acire- because you spelled his name backwards, you COMPLETELY threw me off; I have got no idea what you could be talking about!! You are amazziinnnggggggggg.....  (See now THAT'S when to use that smilie ) heheAnyway, I liked this poem as well, different, interesting viewpoint.  Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving? |

Dopey, thanks for clearing that up. THe whole Love IS touch and Touch IS love is based on the fact that so many people seem to think that there HAS TO be a physical component to a relationship in order for it to be love, and that's not always true. Acire, nope, not about NITSUJ. That chapter's closed. He's been acting really weird lately, since I've been spending so much time with Cody. Thanks everyone... He keeps on commenting on how "lucky Cody is to have a girl like me" and how he wants to "shake his hand and say congratulations on getting the best girl" blah blah blah... I think he just needs to shut up and get over it because I'm never going back to that. Ever. He had his chance, he didn't take it, and honestly, I'm glad that he didn't because I deserve so much better than him and I've found so much better than him! you're right: love isnt touch....cuz touch would be lust. i liked this one better then your other two- it works outside of the feild and explores your mind more then the other ones. you did well with this poem allysa. could the darkness be my friend? |
