well....this is what was on my mind when i picked up my guitar tonight...hope you enjoy (i hope she enjoys haha)...man...you know...ever had that feeling...when the perfect girl was right under your nose for years?? and you just slowly come to realize she's everything you want in a girl??

sometimes she cries...
and i never know why
sometimes she hides....
her fears behind her eyes.

sometimes she laughs...
for no reason that i can see
and my whole world stood still
the first time she talked to me...

and now i wonder if i'll ever be
the one to make her happy...i'll just wait and see.
it breaks my heart to see her cry...
but it blows my mind when i see her smile
i wanna be the one to make her happy...
for a little while.

maybe today will be the day
when i break down and tell her everything i feel...
or maybe i'll wait until tomorrow...

or maybe tomorrow i'll see her out
hanging off his arm like she's in love...
and i know that it will turn out like the rest...
no...today will be the day...

and now i wonder if i'll ever be
the one to make her happy...i'll just wait and see.

there was something in her smile when she looked at me
something i had never seen...
she's always been that one true friend

OMG OMG OMG!!! thats totally gonna be like..a hit song! for real that was so sweet and i think that if you cant straight out tall her, then give her that song or sing it to her cuz its a perfect expression of feelings and its totally sweet!!!

Very well written. I wish I knew the melody of it all so I could sing along, but the lyrics were just fine.
What kind of song would this be? which genre?

i dunno, i have 2 different styles in my head...pretty much the same melody just played different ways
one's slower...just kind of a mellow song...
the other is upbeat...kinda punkish - rock...like hmm like that jimmy eat world song...the middle or whatever.....not too fast or heavy but too fast to be a slow song.

and all i wanna do is be there for the things you're going through....well is it good for you?...is it good for you?
