Walking away is never easy
and Isn't something I want to do
leaving the past behind
keeping away from the dark cloud
of depression that hovers overhead

Never walk away from the lighter side of things...once your pulled out of the depression i think its hard not to be tempted to let yourself wander back into it...good poem

Let go of the bad and invite the good. I enjoyed the poem. Since you said to inform you on what I thought of the poem: I liked it a lot but the Elizabethan style comes out of nowhere. It kind of surprises you. Usually it sounds better if the whole thing is in that style or if the elizabethan is put in quotations for effect.

Anyhow.....that's just my opinion. The poem was well done, and the message was nicely put.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.
