Caught inside they sound their frustration buzzing and crawling as if the cage might yield to them or show even some pity, but apathy is the taste on the glass, on the walls and while they tumble and rumble and roar right below them is an open door, but venture they don't for fear that they might lose their image of the outside 4.13.02 "I never claimed to be your savior I said I had a dirty mouth Stop analyzing my behavior If you’re too dumb to work it out" Garbage [This message has been edited by Dark Enchantress (04-13-2002 06:06 PM).] |

*grins* I liked this in particular because it was compact, to the point, and yet still pertained depth. I like how you describe people, caught in their own little worlds or opinions of things, so unwlling to sacrafice those opinions, they don't see how easily they could be free, free to be open and experience so many, many things. Wonderful. ~ Mon Verite "Tesous Christos, Theou Uios, Soter" [This message has been edited by PoetryIsLife (04-13-2002 06:57 PM).] |

Actually that wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but it works. You got the general idea. And really all that matters is that you got something out of it. Thanks. I had an SAT class this morning and the bees stuck inside the cafeteria reminded me of something... rather symbolic really. So I just wrote about the bees. Think about it.
