My Love, I Long For You Oh, how I long to be near you Oh, how I wish I could confess This love I hold both pure and true To ease this troubled stress I long to see your face I long to see your eyes I long to have you to embrace My love, I long to say hi Oh, there you are The one I wish to call dear Approaching me from afar To wipe away my lonely tear Oh, take my hand, my love And lead me to a place I knew Through the open gates above Take me to a place near you Oh, come to me, my love Embrace me through and through Oh, I wish that I was a dove So I could fly away with you. Oh, say my name, my love And easy my troubled mind You’re the one I think the world of You’re the best of all mankind You’re all I wish to see You must truly know it’s true Forever, I longed for thee Because, I love you Any comments, good or bad, would be apriciated. "Oh, how I long to be near you Oh, how I wish I could confess This love I hold both pure and true To ease this troubled stress" What a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet poem. The gentle way in which you describe your longing... it's lovely.  I can so relate to the lines above... more to these ones as well: "I long to see your face I long to see your eyes I long to have you to embrace My love, I long to say hi" So true!  The meter and flow and all that was splendid. Overall, a great piece! This one line is all I noticed: "You must truly know it’s true" Too many true's, truely I say to you.  ~ Titus "Tesous Christos, Theou Uios, Soter" |

lol, brain freeze I meant to say you must surly know it's true. Oh well. I would change it, but I already gave it to the girl I wrote it for. |
