I wish
I could tear out my eyes
with my overly bitten fingernails
and while I gasp in pain,
realize that this has a purpose
and I am doing it
for a good reason - YOU.

I just want you to see
yourself
through my eyes
and make you realize
that you don't
need to pretend for me.

I can't comprehend the depth of you, nor whatever you may be going through,
but lies are so annoying
and nothing
grates on my nerves more
than a person who is unsure...of himself.

And maybe clawing out my eyes is
futile
but i just wanted to help
(myself).
