...in my boxers...

Take all of me,
please let it be.
Less and less of my selfish,
more and more of the wealth,
all that is You,
all that is true.

I give up me,
please let me see.
I'm just a passing story,
this life is for Your glory.
Every day I see the Sacrificial Tree,
and see Your love beyond degree.

Your grace for me
can it be?
Tired of all that I am,
sick of obsession with this man.
The tears of corruption,
on my knees, pleading supplication.

How can You notice me?
Every day I plea,
all that You are,
we could never cross that bar,
please help me understand,
I am Yours, for You I stand.

On one knee,
now both bent they be.
All of You,
only then can joy be true.
Tears of joy flow on and on,
my heart Your hand is on.

Every day, pick up my cross,
otherwise this life is loss.
Tomorrow I will do it anew,
for You, anything I'll do.
For You love us,
and deserve our full trust.

Amen.

I'm normally not into God-loving poems and such, but the way you wrote it made it very real and interesting. You took a basic concept and made it very personal. I like it a lot.

(smiles) I must confess that I have never been to this forum before, but I just had to stop by and read this wonderful poem of yours! (big hugggssssss) I too always can't help but weel when I look upon the Sacrificial Tree and think of His anguish that cruel men gave Him, but I know that somehow He wished to endure it to save us all and feeling His absolute love, I too will always be His with you and pay homage to Him! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is absolutely touching, have the happiest Easter, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Daniel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thanks everyone.

This poem is my prayer every morning,
not the exact words, per say, but
the feelings and emotions. I'm glad
you all enjoyed it.

Shoot. It seems that I'm a day late for this one. Oh well. It was good anyway. Good to see you Titus!

Ah, screw the grin. *hugs Titus*

Bye all!
