Appear and let him see you for the person that u r
not like they told us to do
way back when
then they made us subject to their fasion
makeing our lives so dry and empty
but sooner or later we changed our song
and formed a rhythm of our own
bold, but concrete, soft but full
enough to make us strong.
And she alone would always live that mess
her hell, his deepest passion
just for him, but not for her
she never gained a thing
her love for him would jail her there
behind his lock and key
a waste of time and life and beauty
behind closed doors,
only for the underserved eye
for only him to see
so why'd we make it like this?
we made her throw it all away
without a clue we meant a thing.
why so hard for her and him
and you and me?
his pleasures more important
and his game is better won.
I hope that on some fine day
the one who throws the rules away
will come to know her hell, her pain, her defeat
and the grief that comes with these.

A poem well done. The title attracted and the poem content did not fail to impress.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Somewhere out there a cow is laughing at you

The ending was great and the whole thing flowed so nicely. Great job!!!
