Howdy. I just wrote this one, not really about anybody in particular, just something off of my head, I guess. Let me know what you think.

DEPRESSION

Darkness rises in her heart
Extinguising her greatest dreams
Pushing to things she never wanted
Repeatedly making her question
Every person she ever loved and trusted
Sending her world in a downward spiral
Still not realizing all she could be
If only she had not listened to the world
Once she was a beautifully blooming daisy
Now she is closer to a withering rose

Isn't that the truth? Depression...it's a touchy subject and often hard to write about to certain extents. You've been creative AND managed to capture a lot of how people feel in one hit. Nice job.

hey cody! good job, i really liked this one a lot, i related to some of it. your one of my good friends, and you know some stuff in life has made it where i havent written anything in forever, but this inspired somthin else. thanks a ton. bye!
