These faces spin 'round my head,
Places fade in and out.
I'm not sure if I'm alive,
But I'm not sure what life's all about.
I'm so uncertain.

You've changed my mind,
By turning your back.
I've tried so hard to understand,
But I think it's time I face the facts.
I'm aware of how this works for you.

My bags are packed,
As I head off to dreamland.
No more confusion,
For it's all an illusion.
It might not be real,
But it's where I'm meant to be.
I'm ready to go.

As I go you all wave good-bye,
And you notice I don't wave too.
For I am now consumed by the men of the sky,
Just not enough time to embrace you.
I'm leaving it all behind.

I no longer am with you,
But if you watch very closely,
You just might catch a glimpse of my old self.
Don't you worry about me,
Just go on keeping your life on the shelf.
I'm changed.

As for me, I'm no longer contained
By the restrictions of your world.
I'm free.

ahaha..I knew I'd get that. Let's see..these so-called 'men of the sky,' Well, there's lots of things I want them to be, but when I first wrote the poem they were just supposed to be like the people in my dream world. like men, referring to all people..kinda like saying 'guys,' and being unisex..eh? Eh. anyways..
