How could you lie to me,
I just don't get it so explain.
Not once did I lie to you,
And now I'm in so much pain.

You were a good friend of mine,
So I though I could trust you.
But I guess I was wrong,
And now I don't know what to do.

Now I wont be able to trust anyone,
But it's not like you care.
My life is so screwed up now,
And I sit here gasping for air.

All I have ever known or believed is wrong,
And now I have nothing to live for.
Everyday my life is geting worse,
And I can't take much more.

My life has sunk back into depression,
And all I seem to do is cry.
But I can't let you see my tears,
Or let you know that I really want to die.

Thanks for making my life a whole lot harder,
And don't be suprised if you don't see me tomorrow.
Because I no longer can talk to anyone,
And I'm about to drownd in my own sorrow.

So very sad, but I don't think that threats of "death" are a good way with dealing with "life" do you? I understand what you are trying to say, but sticking to the "feelings" of rejection, and the loss of a friend is better than actually telling what the consequences would be, otherwise I liked your poem and am sure many can identify with this situation.

I like that..I know how you feel and know where you are comming from. I am sorry that your friend did this to you, But its not worth dying over..I once thought my life was so bad..that I couldnt go on..my b/f left me..cheated on me. If you try suicide your life wont get better..after that attempt you want love..you want to forget about that..but you wont..I promise..life will get better

Trust no one Lauren...in the end everyone is out to better themselfes and will ultimately walk upon anyone to get to where they wanna be...even our so called "friends"...i've been in the situation you are in now way too often and its the crappiest feeling...stay strong sweety..im always here for you to talk to xitalysbabyx@aol.com

I know I don't know you, but your words echo the past and pain I've been through also and still dealing with..I have a hard time with trust..but you know what, you can trust some people the ones that are sincere and you'll be able to feel it radiating off of them please don't be like me and push the ones that love you away, I'm guilty of that..you can email me if you ever need to talk, pryncess_iseult@hotmail.com, we all fall prey to deceit and it takes awhile to get back onto our feet..hehe I rhymed:P
