Today some boy walked past me
Wearing your cologne
I just wanted to stop him and yell at him
Tell him to find a new scent
Because he made me think of you
And it was something I hadn't done for awhile
And it hurt
And I found the empty bottle of Bacardi Rum
And just a whiff of 151 takes me back
To that day in your bed
Thoughts start turning in my head
And I cringe
Not at the thought of you...
Not at all
I just wish I could've been different
As in,
More sober
And more single
And I was feeling the things I said and did
And it all felt so right
But I just felt wrong for doing that to you
And today I came across a poem that you wrote:
"How's It Gonna Be?"
And it definitely made me think of you
How good you write
How good you are to me
How good things could be with you
And I got scared

"Time really does fly by and no one knows where it goes, so if you have something to say or do, say or do it now."

This is a really emotion filled piece that I can relate to a lot.It's wierd how something like the smell of cologn can trigger memories.But anyway I really like this piece and I hope things get better for you.Keep up the awsome work.

Cologne can be a strong and powerful thing if i do say so myself...a guy i liked wore some polo brand that everyone in the world started wearing after we were no longer together...i know exactly how you feel!

I know the feeling, the other day I was in a store, and there was this shirt that he had....that shirt always made his eyes look beautiful...that shirt....ahhhh....Oh no, Im doing it again....Great Post!!1

I always remember the little things like that...Like the way he always pushed my hair behind my ears if it got in my face...And when other people do that to me I flip out thinking its him cause I cant help but think about him...(we broke up on bad terms) But really good poem!!!

~I thought it was only your loss when we broke up, but it turns out it was mine too~
