My homeland is not of the world

Go now to the river to hid your tears
Oh how I which I could be there to make you chear
Oh how I which I could kiss away your pain
Don’t let me fade away, like the mid season rain
By my honor I will always be there
You must surely know that I care
Everything that’s you is also me
My love, you are all I wish to see
Yet here I am trapped in this place
Lonely now without your pretty face
Oh how I wish our lives were entwined
Valentines are running through my mind
Expanding my ever desire for our love to bind

But we’re not, so I write the words straight down the list
To try to escape this cruel and bitter mist
That love has cast upon me from above
But I am gone, so goodbye my love.
