I haven't posted in a long time, so sorry.  I've been so busy.  But anyway, Valentine's Day brings back so many memories, grrr...

memories flood my mind
like a harsh downfall that just won’t cease
splattering
pitter-pattering
drowning me,
till I’ve lost my breath
How much longer can I hold it?
I close my eyes to find relief
and all I see is you
and me
one year ago
though it feels like an eternity
I still hear the words you said,
I still feel your touch,
I still think about you,
I still want you.
But you’re
not mine
not mine
not mine
You’re gone,
and all that remains
are the memories
Like a rainstorm in my mind.
And when it rains,
it pours.

I relate...well, what i've been feeling lately this would be it...

"I still think about you,
I still want you.
But you’re
not mine
not mine
not mine
You’re gone,
and all that remains
are the memories" The power in those verses hit me; *points to chest*

"Dont piss me off, Im runing out of places to hide the bodies..."

I liked the idea of hearing and feeling the other person even though they are not around.

The use of rain as a comparision worked very well with how these emotions just seem to crop up and explode into our lives after so long.  Just rememeber, it can't rain forever.
